Our Partners

Community is made up of all sorts of people and organisations, as such we don’t pretend to be able to achive without partners. These are organisations we work closely with in order to deliever quality services.

St Peters in the City are primary partners with us in achieving our goals. In addition to assisting us with regular funding we use the church facilities for delivery of our courses. We also benefit from the wealth of experience, passion and support found within the congregation.

CAP work with local churches to release New Zealanders from debt, poverty and its causes – into a life filled with hope and freedom.

The Food Rescue concept is simple; the team collects food that is good to eat but not good enough to sell, to redistribute to local charities for use. We are very grateful recipients of food and grocery items that contribute towards our weekly drop-in lunch, morning teas for our courses and emergency food parcels for our clients and their families.

Oranga Tamariki is the Ministry dedicated to supporting any child in New Zealand whose wellbeing is at significant risk of harm now, or in the future. They also work with young people who may have offended, or are likely to offend. We are grateful for their continuing support which enables us to provide counselling, support and well being courses at St Peters House.

The importance of parenting in society is acknowledged by the Ministry of Education. We are currently contracted to provide the Incredible Years Parenting Program for parents and caregivers of children aged 3 - 6yrs.
